Dulake in Korean TV drama

The family and friends of Sean Dulake, including prominent Arcadia residents Imy and Rick Dulake, have been watching the young man act in the popular weekly Korean TV drama “JeJungwon,” which has recently been picked up on local channel 18 for broadcasts on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Episode four will debut on channel 18 at 9:50 p.m. this Monday, Feb. 22. You can also watch the first 12 episodes of “JeJungwon” online here with English subtitles.

Set in 1895, Sean, according to his father, plays the part of a Dr. Horace Allen who went to Korea (then Josean) to bring Western medicine.

The king at that time eventually built a hospital where Dr. Allen was the Director. The name of the hospital is called Jejoongwon and today is still there and is called Severance Hospital.

Among Sean’s many productions was a short film by Steve Lee called “Snow Walk” in which you can see Sean Dulake in a starring role in the video teaser below:
