Circus Vargas will be holding their annual event in the southwest parking lot area of Santa Anita Park. The event has been successfully held at this location for the past several years. The family-oriented show will be operated in the same manner as past events. Eleven performances will be held over the course of six days, between Tuesday, August 13 and Sunday, August 18. Each performance will run for approximately 90 minutes and is expected to draw 300-500 attendees. Parking will be provided in the southwest parking lot area, adjacent to the tent. Setup for the event will begin on Monday, August 5, and tear down/clean-up will begin Sunday, August 18 after the last show, and completed by Monday, August 19. No live racing or any other events are scheduled during the proposed circus performances.
