Ricky Sun, a 28-year-old Latin dance instructor at Arcadia Fitness, was showcased this week with his dance partner Asuka Kondoh of Irvine on the popular Fox dance contest show “So You Think You Can Dance?”
The pair were chosen from thousands who auditioned in Los Angeles to be among only about 30 finalists to go to the Las Vegas round of competition for the final weekly live dance competition.
Ricky and Asuka took time out one afternoon this week to discuss their backgrounds and life in Arcadia, and to demonstrate one of their current dances in the video below.
