The Prayer Chest at the Santa Anita Church

At The Santa Anita Church, Reverend Terry Keenan will explore the lessons of the book in a series of four Monday evening classes beginning on October 20.
The Prayer Chest is a novel by August Gold and Joel Fotinos, ordained ministers and co-founders of Sacred Center New York. (A prayer chest itself is simply a box in which is placed a written prayer-it's what you do after you put the prayer in the chest that determines the result.)
Classes are from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on October 20 and 27, and November 3 and 10.  Registration is $75.00, which includes a copy of the book. The Santa Anita Church is located at 226 West Colorado Boulevard in Arcadia.  For further information, contact Amalia Seresinghe in the church office at (626) 446-8206.
