*  AHS has 35 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists for the 2008-09 school year. We also have 80 Commended Students.
*  Congratulations to AHS football player Todd Golper who has been ranked by the Los Angeles Times as the # 6 Linebacker in the Southland. He is ranked fifth nationally by scout.com and 11th by rivals.com.
*  Arcadia High School staff member Tom Forbes has been honored twice this school year...already! He received the Gold Award of Recognition from the Southern CA School Band and Orchestra Association for his dedicated and consistent support throughout the years. And he was honored with the Outstanding String Music Teacher for 2008 by the American String Teachers Association Greater Los Angeles Chapter. Tom is an AHS graduate.
