Water Fest 2008 will feature free water education materials and fun stage shows and workshops for kids by The Discovery Science Center.
Have a family picnic with us and learn about our most precious natural resource.
Other highlights include:
* Free Food & Entertainment
* The Mobil Tide Pool Cruiser Exhibit
* Whittier Narrows Nature Center's "Native California Live Animal Display"
* Free raffle prizes like one high-efficiency clothes washer
* Huge pumpkins grown with recycled water
* Solar-powered boats by local high school students
* 5K Healthy Parks Youth Walk -- Come early and join us at the 5K Walk at L.A. County's Arcadia Park from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. With a $10 registration fee per person, you will receive a T-Shirt and other goodies. The proceeds will benefit the L.S. County Healthy Parks program.
