BOOK GROUP TO DISCUSS READING LOLITA IN TEHRAN

The Arcadia Public Library’s Four Seasons Non-Fiction Book discussion groups meet on October 6 at either 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. in the Library’s Conference Room to discuss Azar Nafisi’s Reading Lolita in Tehran.
This book tells the story of Nafisi gathering a group of her most committed female students every Thursday morning for two years in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Together they read forbidden Western classics and discovered the power of literature.
