THE BIG READ COMES TO THE ARCADIA PUBLIC LIBRARY

Children of all ages are invited to the Arcadia Public Library, 20 W. Duarte Rd. (southwest corner of Santa Anita) on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. for a Sled Dog Special.
Robert Stradley, director of Adventure Quest Institute, will demonstrate dog sledding with his canine team.
The Arcadia Public Library is pleased to be a partner with The Huntington Library in The Big Read, which gives communities the opportunity to come together to read, discuss and celebrate the classic book, The Call of the Wild, by Jack London.
The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment of the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.
The Arcadia Public Library will be sponsoring additional events during October as part of The Big Read. More details are available on the Library’s website: http://library.ci.arcadia.ca.us.
